About ABE Canada

There are two ABE Canada sites, housed at the University of Toronto Mississauga, and Carleton University.

ABE Canada is led by the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). ABE Canada provides education and technical training to secondary school teachers in the Greater Toronto Area to enable them to conduct hands-on biotechnology experiments in their classrooms. The comprehensive ABE program complements the Ontario Grade 11 and 12 biology curriculum, allowing students to further develop their scientific research skills and explore careers in biotechnology.
