Biotechnology Seminar from Our ABE Teacher!

ABE Turkiye Teacher, Melike Akin, organized online seminar on "Conversations on Biotechnology" on November 28 and December 2, 2022. Guest lecturers from universities contributed to the seminar held in two sessions for high school students.

Faruk Nafiz Camlibel Anatolian High School Teacher, Melike Akin, organized seminar aiming at raising career awareness about biotechnology for high school students with the experiences she gained within the scope of the ABE program. What is biotechnology? What is DNA isolation? Where is insulation used? What is micropipetting? What is gel electrophoresis? What are the usage areas of these techniques? Approximately 50 people, including the ABE family, attended the seminars. Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Koksal Pabuccu and Dr. Serap Sunar participated as guest speakers and shared knowledge and experiences about the topics.
