St. Pete. Science Festival 2026

This February, our ABE team was back at the St. Pete Science Festival, continuing a tradition we love, introducing K-12 and high school students to one of the fundamental skills in biotechnology: the correct use of micropipettes!Each year, our Pipetting Art tent brings a new wave of excitement, and 2026 was no exception. Florida Association of Science Teachers (FAST) Conference 2025

The ABE sessions at the Florida Association of Science Teachers (FAST) Conference held on the 23rd - 25th of October at Orlando, were a great success! In September 2025, Amgen Biotech Experience Tampa (ABE Tampa) hosted the 2025 Professional Development Institutes (PDIs) at the University of South Florida Tampa campus., delivering a rich and collaborative learning experience for both new and returning educators. FAST Conference

St. Pete. Science Festival 2025

What an incredible experience at the St. Pete Science Festival on February 7th and 8th, 2025! We had the privilege of introducing K-12 and high school students to one of the fundamental skills in biotechnology—the use of micropipettes. St. Pete Science Festival 2024

Last February (Feb 9 and 10, 2024) we attended the St. Pete Science Festival. We focused on training future scientists on one of the most important skills in Biotechnology - the correct use of the micropipettes! Our tent was a success, and we hope to have a bigger space for next year, so more people can have a fun day doing Pipetting Art!
