ABE Italy online course SOCIAL GENOMICS: The biology of inequality (4 sessions, March 5 - 12)

The course, organized by the Liceo Classico e Linguistico G.D.ROMAGNOSI high school in Parma and divided into two phases, offers a reflection on how environmental and social factors can influence gene expression and affect differences in individuals' health and well-being. The training course aims to explore the epigenetic mechanisms that mediate the interaction between genes and the environment, highlighting the deep link between health, environmental context, and social justice, and offering up-to-date tools for understanding one of the most innovative frontiers of contemporary scientific research.

The course is aimed at secondary school teachers in the province of Parma, as well as schools belonging to the national Amgen Biotech Experience - ABE Italy network, of which Liceo Romagnosi is a member.
