Welcome to our ABE Teacher of the Month Spotlight, where we recognize outstanding educators across the greater Los Angeles area who demonstrate a strong and consistent commitment to STEM education.
Today, we’re excited to feature an educator who has inspired thousands of students in the fields of Biology and Biotechnology. Before entering the classroom, she spent several years working in the biotechnology industry, bringing real-world scientific experience directly into her teaching and creating meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities for her students.
Her dedication to STEM education has been recognized through features the ABE Program Office blog, where she shared how even “a sliver of science can spark a career.” Through the ABE program, she has helped students explore careers in science, engineering, medicine, and beyond—opening doors to possibilities many had never considered before.
