The Miramar ABE-SD site will accept reservation requests for the 2022-2023 school year from August 26 until September 9. During this period, you can place a reservation for the Fall or Spring semester. Your next opportunity to request a reservation will be the week of October 31, at which point you can make a reservation for the Spring semester only.

For MSJC Articulation teachers, please use this form and these instructions to make reservations. Depending on the timing of reservations, you may come to Miramar to pick up your materials or you can coordinate with Dr. Reeves to consolidate pick up and drop off times.

Please note that in light of COVID, it is possible that our schedule or your schedule may change unexpectedly. We will do our best to accommodate your challenges, and we ask that you be understanding if we face our own.

To make your reservation, please:

  1. Consult the Miramar Reservations Calendar here to view availability of kits or equipment. An empty box on the spreadsheet indicates the kit/equipment is available. Your last name will appear in the spreadsheet once you have a confirmed reservation, indicating the kit/equipment is not available for anyone else during that block. There is no limit on the number of consumables-only reservations we can accommodate in any given block.
  2. Complete the Order Request Form here.
    1. If you are unsure of what numbers to provide us, just enter your anticipated numbers for the students, groups and classes. If you need to modify your actual numbers, contact us no later than two weeks prior to pick-up, but please note if you attempt to add numbers we may not be able to accommodate. 
  3. Respond to the follow-up email(s) you receive from our team to address any clarifications, schedule your pick-up/drop-off times at Miramar, and sign the ABE-SD Teacher Agreement form. Your reservation is not confirmed until all of our questions are answered, we receive the signed Teacher Agreement form, we send you a confirmation email, and your name appears in the appropriate spot on the Miramar Reservations Calendar here. Please note that your confirmed pick-up/drop-off time has been reserved for you personally. 
    1. Plan to be at the door to the lab at your pick-up/drop off time. Early/late shows may result in forfeiture of the reservation, with materials no longer available for pick-up.

ABE-San Diego scheduling for 2019-2020

We have parted ways with our former scheduling system, the LARS website. Please see below for new scheduling instructions.

1. Please view the availability of kits/equipment on the following google sheets, which you can view but not edit:

2. Pick-ups and returns will occur only on set days. You can keep kits/materials either 1.5 weeks or 2.5 weeks, as you have the option of two return days for each pick-up day. You can reserve the same kit up to 2 times per semester pending availability (everyone’s first reservation will get priority).

The fall schedule is as follows:

  • Block 1: pick up Mon Aug 26, 2019, return either Th Sept 5 or Thu Sept 12, 2019
  • Block 2: pick up Mon Sept 16, 2019, return either Th Sept 26 or Thu Oct 3, 2019
  • Block 3: pick up Mon Oct 7, 2019, return either Th Oct 17 or Thu Oct 24, 2019
  • Block 4: pick up Mon Oct 28, 2019, return either Th Nov 7 or Thu Nov 14, 2019
  • Block 5: pick up Mon Nov 18, 2019, return either Th Dec 5 or Thu Dec 12, 2019

The spring schedule is as follows:

3. To place an order for a kit/consumables/equipment, fill out a google form. The coordinator at your site will follow up via email to verify details, set pick-up and return times, and confirm your order. Your order is confirmed when it shows up on the google sheet/calendar (linked in #1 above). Order forms can be completed here:

4. Reservations will be made only during the following weeks: August 5-11, 2019; November 4-10, 2019; February 3-9, 2020. (The google order forms will only be active during these weeks.)

  • The week of Aug 5-11, 2019, you can place an order to pick up on or after Aug 26, 2019.
  • The week of Nov 4-10, 2019, you can place an order to pick up on or after Jan 6, 2020.
  • The week of Feb 3-9, 2020, you can place an order to pick up on or after Mar 9, 2020.
