Mitsy Natareno completed her associate’s degree in biotechnology and participated in the initial group between LAMC and Cedars Sinai Bio-manufacturing Center (CBC) Cell & Gene Therapy Certificate program in the summer of 2024. She is also part of the first group of LAMC’s B.S. Bio-manufacturing program starting in fall 2024. She aims to build a student network to encourage the exchange of knowledge and resources. With guidance from Dr. Chander Arora, she developed a strong interest in biotechnology and a desire to contribute positively to people's well-being. She assists educators and manages lab kit distribution.
In her free time, she enjoys walking, reading, watching films, and practicing mindfulness. Mitsy has a deep appreciation for music. One of her favorite films is Godzilla: Minus One, and her current favorite book is The Summer Queen by Joan D. Vinge.
